micro:bit Prototyping Kit - Pimoroni10 out of 10
2 wanted
BBC's latest "BBC Micro" is more like a kid-targeted Arduino with a 5x5 LED grid and some buttons built in.It's 15 quid for the micro:bit itself, plus battery pack.
The "Prototyping Kit" comes with the edge connector for access to WAY more I/O pins

Arduino for Ham Radio book9 out of 10
1 wanted
This is PROBABLY a more sensible option than the Rotor-EZ, as it has plans to build a Rotor controller much more cheaply, AND a bunch of other ham radio Arduino projects.

Our Roomba is great at cleaning our carpeted floors for us, but she could do with a buddy who can mop/scrub the kitchen and other solid floors for us.

TEMP controlled Soldering iron9 out of 10
1 wanted
I had a nice soldering iron in the UK, I built my ham transceiver with it. It was 240V-only and I sold/gave it away before I came to 110V Canada. Here I have had a cheapie uncontrolled one, and a non-thermostatic variable-wattage one which is only slightly better and a bit unpredictable. Would appreciate an actual TEMPERATURE controlled one (IE thermostatic, where you set a TEMPERATURE not a guess and it tries to stay close to that), EG one of the ones below.

K160RX 160M Option for my K2 amateur transceiver7 out of 10
1 wanted
Adds another band to my existing K2 ham transceiver. 160M is a tricky band to work with, but for $40, complete with another RX input, this is a very good value add-on for my radio.
