T-Deck and/or T-Deck Plus [CA] – LILYGO®

ANOTHER thing that looks like a BlackBerry but isn't.

This one has a great (BB-like) keyboard and screen, but instead of using a cellphone network, these communicate over Meshtastic. We have quite a good amateur radio and non-ham Meshtastic community mesh in the Waterloo area. They are also great for direct point-to-point comms, EG when hiking / camping "off grid".

Make sure to get the CANADIAN [CA] one, which will use the correct 915MHz band
External antenna appreciated but can add one myself if I need to.
Don't care which firmware, will be reprogramming it anyway.
